Efficient provisioning of resources

Multicloud Campus allows you to build a powerful cloud environment without the complexity of setting up your own infrastructure. Companies can use the public cloud from ITENOS to book individual VMs on a shared platform within a campus. The cloud solution is not only scalable and quick to deploy, but also guarantees a high level of security and compliance thanks to standardized security guidelines, which is a major benefit for customers who don’t have their own security teams. If required, the public cloud also allows for hybrid scenarios and the use of external public cloud services by connecting to a hyperscaler, e.g. via the DataLogistIX platform.

Better safe than sorry: Geo-redundancy for even more security

Multicloud Campus can also be deployed with geo-redundancy to ensure maximum protection, even if one location fails. The optional Multicloud Geo-redundancy add-on for the public cloud guarantees resilience and high system availability. That is why, for example, the IT systems between the Frankfurt-Kleyerstraße data center and Hamburg-Ahrensburg are geo-redundant. This complies with the latest BSI (German Federal Office for Information Security) standard for highly available and geo-redundant data centers to ensure availability in the event of disasters or other disruptions. The Multicloud Geo-redundancy add-on allows customers to choose from three levels, whether they want to outsource just backups or also disaster recovery to Ahrensburg, or whether they want to keep active resources in both data centers.
