Böblingen is home to one of the most modern data centers in Europe. Our data center in the Stuttgart area currently offers a total space of 1,600 m², but this will grow to 8,000 m² and offer 24 MW of power when completed. Its modular design provides unparalleled scalability—even in active operation.

The data center is also monitored 24/7 by an on-site security service to guarantee maximum security.

Comprehensive fire safety

The interior is constructed exclusively of non-combustible and flame-retardant materials to ensure the best possible fire safety. The data center in Stuttgart-Böblingen is equipped with an automated fire alarm and gas extinguishing system, and divided into several fire compartments. It also has an early fire detection system (RAS) that ensures an extremely high level of protection.

Certified housing

Our Stuttgart-Böblingen data center is TÜV tested and classified as highly available, level 3 (tekPlus), and certified ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and EN 50600 VK 3. It relies on separate redundant power supply paths, separate transformers, and emergency power systems for each feed to ensure uninterrupted operation. As with all ITENOS data centers, a comprehensive range of housing services is also available.

Optimum connectivity thanks to DataLogistIX

For optimal connectivity, the data center is directly connected to the DE-CIX internet exchange point and offers multiple redundant internet upstream connections with bandwidths of up to 100 Gbit/s. Furthermore, the site is integrated into the high-performance DataLogistIX platform. Customers benefit from a variety of services such as internet access and internet transit, as well as cloud connections to the ITENOS Multicloud, the Open Telekom Cloud, and international hyperscalers. VIP is available for connecting to other customer data centers or racks, while WEV 2.0 and Ethernet Premium enable connectivity to any customer location.
